Disaster averted in record breaking time at ANWE!
When the wood chip loading facility, operated by Allied Natural Wood Exports (ANWE) in Eden sustained major storm damage in June, with parts of the infrastructure washed away by a "monster 17m wave", Acora were called on to Design and Fabricate the 260m conveyor.
In record time, the project was designed, built and operational within a small timeframe thanks to the tireless work of our team. The design, fabrication and installation was all done in house by Acora under very challenging conditions of weather, with compliance to Australian Standards for weld quality, marine paint specifications and safe installation requirements more than 13 m above the ocean.
